This process is used to repair seal areas and bearing areas that do not carry a thrust load. A high pressure airgun embeds the molten material into the "base material". This method of welding does not produce the normal high temperature displacement to the area of repair. This greatly reduces the risk of heat damage, cracking, and warping. We are able to spray weld a nickel base material to marine seal areas to inhibit corrosion.
